Hi, I'm Connell McBride, a prizewinning keyboardist, composer and electronic artist from rural Ireland. I make experimental electronic music that incorporates elements of House, Hip Hop, Folk, Traditional Irish, Funk and Jazz.
Music that moves us does not happen by accident. It is engineered from the intersection of human thought and touch to analog signal to audio structure.
My work exists at the intersection of creative chaos and structured logic. Whether I am releasing new music or creating a syllabus for my students, my goal is the same: to strip away the confusion and get to the music.
With this site I hope to create a space that explores my passion for demystifying keyboard music and electronic music performance looking at the entire process from Practice though Process to Performance. Here you will find my Method including practice blueprints, the music theory and the practical resources I build to help master this craft.
This site is my lab. There is no filler here. Only the music, and the mechanics behind it.
